The DC Patient Navigation Program: Video Brings Project to a Wider Audience
The project coordinator knew the creation of video would be a quick and comprehensive way to reach all stakeholders to help communicate the purpose and benefits of the patient navigation program throughout the city.
eMediaProse provided the solution. We produced a YouTube Channel for the DC Cancer Consortium. The channel laid the groundwork for information to flow to the communities that would benefit the most from navigating the District's multi-faceted health system. We followed up by also featuring lunchtime video shorts with guest speakers who attended networking sessions to share information monthly.
The channel set a precedent for hospitals and grantees to share more health video to spread news about health initiatives in the community.
